Many people has misunderstand the meaning of culture and traditions in our land.They forgot that since they belive that they have village, were they are from,Now there is no village without history,the history of every village has a culture/tqadition which makes it different from others.though christainity has taken the whole place, but tradition/culture needs to be respect,and be followed in it procedure.Remenber a village without no tradition has no history and does not exist. by Ehiem kingsley uchenna 04-Aug-2009

Re: The Death of our Culture by chinemere 13-Aug-2009 you know culture is the people's way of life.Now civilization has taken over our society whereby some primitive behaviors have been discarded.More over the setting up of age grades by villages is culture which is a way of making youths to understand that they are of age to make contributions in family and village matters,pay tax and so on.Therefore culture can not be separated from the people's way of live. |
