The Imo State Expanded Executive Council has issued a 13-point communiqué highlighting the need for a coordinated inter agency cooperation that would ensure the success of the New Face of Imo Vision, the cardinal point of the state administration.

The communiqué which was issued at the end of a 3-day retreat held at the Amber Hotel, Tinapa, in Cross River State held also that the internally generated revenue of all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) should be promptly reported and remitted to the relevant government body.

The retreat also agreed that a more proactive approach to public information management be adopted for achieving effective buy-in of the policies and programmes of government especially at the grass roots level.

While insisting on positive leadership role by the executive council members, they agreed that for an effective service delivery in the public service, a positive attitudinal change should be adopted.
