The Imo state governor, Chief Ikedi Ohakim has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the United Bank for Africa (UBA) to the tune of N30 billion, to enable it fund projects in the state.
The event took place at the UBA headquarters, Marina, Lagos. The development projects to be executed will be guaranteed and monitored by the Bank.
Governor Ohakim signed on behalf of the state while the Group Managing Director of UBA Mr. Tony Elumelu, signed on behalf of the bank.
The event was witnessed by a director in UBA, Mr. Phillips Oduoza, among bank and government officials.
